Born in Dallas, TX, Hot Boy has always had a love for music. His musical path started at the age of 5, playing drums in the church.
Years later, he attended Grambling State University and joined its world-famous Tiger marching band (Drum Line).
When Hot Boy returned to Omaha, he began his career as a DJ. He has held down various clubs around the city, including South Beach, Cartier’s, Stir, Players Bar and many more.
His radio career has seen him go from an intern to a host on Power 106.9. He has done everything in radio, from producing to mix shows to being an on-air talent.
When asked why he chose radio, he said: "To make a difference. All that I do in life I do to make a difference. If it is learning, teaching or working. I WILL make a difference. If you continue to do things the same way and expect a different outcome, you are insane. So let today be the day that you make change."
Hot Boy plans to continue working in radio for "as long as that road goes without ending." He plans to teach in the future.

Drake gets roped into a situation where a lawyer accuses him of owning his Rolex.
A Manhattan lawyer has accused Drake of owning a stolen Rolex that belonged to him.
According to NY Post, James McMillan said that he purchased a $300,000 rose-gold Rolex Presidential from Rafaello & Co. in 2009. After he dropped off the watch for a cleaning at the Midtown jewelry shop, he claimed that a store employee had sold the watch to the Young Money rapper.
Drake, who wore the watch on the cover of his latest album Take Care, has already responded to the accusation, stating that he got his watch directly from Rolex and never even heard of the jeweler.
